Complete an OEM-level vehicle diagnostic in 7 simple steps. Most scans finish in about 15 seconds.
Before opening the app, turn on Bluetooth and mobile data on your Apple or Android phone.
Stay within about 5 feet of the ULTRA adapter during the scan. You can move around the vehicle, but do not leave the inspection area while a scan is active.
Launch CarDr OBD IQ. The first time you open it, allow all requested permissions.
If permissions are denied, Bluetooth communication may fail. The Bluetooth connection may take up to a minute.
Enter your inspector login credentials to access the app.
Start the vehicle. Plug the ULTRA adapter into the OBD port and confirm “blue ready” status.
Then press Advanced Scan.
Enter the vehicle mileage and tap Continue to begin scanning.
When the scan finishes, use the white arrow on the right side of each module to move through the details.
To open saved scan results, select the SCAN REPORTS button to view vehicle reports. Copy and paste codes or necessary data into the Manheim application.
